Born and raised in Minnesota Doug graduated from Hopkins high school, Bethel University, and Bethel Seminary. Doug and his wife Shelley were married in 1988 and have four children.

He has worked with numerous publishing houses and has consulted with non-profits, universities, and graduate schools around the world. Tony has a wide range of experience running events, camps, and retreats, and he is known to bring creative thinking to every endeavor. Tony has three children and lives in Edina, Minnesota, his hometown.
